Our Services are meant for students (children), their parents, teachers and schools.

However, even if they are able to create their account and make the required payments on their own, our Services are harmless because as they pertain to academic subjects and topics taught in schools with no direct interaction between users.
School Account
Representatives of schools can create a school account for their students. In a school account, the representative can upload identification data of students, parents and school teachers, thereby creating their respective accounts automatically. In this case, we expect the representative to make students, parents and teachers of the school aware of our Services, privacy policy and terms of use.
Personal Data
We collect personally identifiable information about our users solely to render our Services.
Identity
We collect email id on signup and the email id of teachers and parents added to the account. Subsequently, we also prompt users to enter the name they want to be known as in QuestionsToday. We do not use personal data of users for business purposes like advertising nor do we share it with other business entities for profit.

The payment information is shared with external payment gateways we integrate with in order to process the payment transactions. It may also be shared with authorized government agencies when required, with our product and quality assurance teams for improvement of Services, and with our chartered accountants, tax and legal advisors for reviews, audits and regulatory compliances.

Data Sharing
QuestionsToday is built using Artificial Intelligence (AI). As such, we share user data with external AI-Large Language Models (AI-LLMs) to render our Services. In doing so the only data shared with AI-LLMs is student performance-related data. Personally identifiable information of users is not shared with AI-LLMs at any time.
Content Security Policy
We use industry-standard Content Security Policy (CSP) to prevent frontend malicious attacks using code injections. Our CSP configuration is strict and prevents interfacing with external websites and/or apps except those which have been integrated in the backend by design.
Data Transmission
We transmit data between user device and our server using the SSL-industry standard protocol (https).
Data Storage
We use industry-standard encryption techniques to store data in our server database. However, user data may be transmitted to and stored on servers in the user home country or elsewhere. We choose our data hosting locations based on technical, administrative and financial parameters with the objective of providing unhindered and high-quality Services at reasonable cost.
Data Retention
In general, user data remains with us for perpetuity even after user account is deleted. This is because QuestionsToday is an education platform where performance data of one user may be displayed to other users. We also believe that a student or school may want to revive their account at any time in the future. This makes it important for us to retain historical data for such eventuality rather than force the user to restart the education cycle afresh.
Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When this happens, we will change the effective date on top of this page to let you know. We encourage you to review this privacy policy when you access our Services.
